Owego Schools Receive FEMA Funding

It's the news folks in Owego have been waiting for FEMA officials have agreed to fund the replacement of all four school buildings that were damaged in the September flood.

Owego Elementary School will be replaced, along with the district administration building, it's maintenance facility, and the maintenance storage facility.

The news comes at an especially encouraging time with the start of the school and the anniversary of the September flood.
