Politicians' Press Conference Repeats Schumer's Pitch

Cobani is hoping to sell greek yogurt to schools.
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Congressman Richard Hanna were at the Norwich plant Friday to support a plan to get the USDA to reclassify greek yogurt for school lunches.
We asked Kate Thornton if this press conference covered pretty much the same announcement just two months ago?
When asked about that-- gillabrand said they've been talking about it for a while and are continuing to get the usda's attention on this issue.
Now--greek yogurt has twice the amount of protein has regular yogurt and politicians want to see children eating the protein enriched yogurt as early as next school year... all that needs to happen is for the USDA to change their regulations to recognize greek yogurt as a protein. Gillibrand and Hanna told Fox40 it will also save schools money since it's cheaper than a meat source but equally as healthy-- making it a win-win for everyone:
