Dogs Strut Their Stuff In Apalachin This Weekend

Dogs of all shapes and sizes are in Apalachin this weekend for the Hickories Circuit Dog Show.

The Susquenango Kennel Club all breed show has more than 600 hundred  dogs participating in a variety of events, even including an all new category for puppies four to six months old.

Show dogs have traveled from as far as Florida, Canada, and even Ireland to be in Friday's show.

"I've done this my entire life, I'm a third generation dog show person so I've been doing this since I was in a stroller. I went to my first dog show at two weeks. I enjoy every minute of it. There's nothing like waking up at six o'clock in the morning to a kennel full of dogs wagging their tails. I'm happy to see it, nothing better than it," said Courtney Norris a third generation dog show person.

If you're interested in stopping by the dog show it will continue all weekend rain or shine. General admission is three dollars per vehicle.
