Bones inks deal with Nike

ITHACA -- It looks as though the reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and Endicott native Jon "Bones" Jones is getting his image back together.

Bones Wednesday announced on twitter that he agreed to a sponsorship deal with Nike. That's a first for a UFC fighter.

Last month the champ had his licensed revoked and was forced to have an interlock device installed in his vehicle for a May DWI arrest.

Jones is slated to defend his title against Dan Henderson September 1st.
