Humane Society's Duck Derby Offers Big Prize

The Duck Derby will raise money for the Humane Society.
The festivities will include: live music, food and games, and of course the big moment when the ducks drop down from the Court Street Bridge.
"So this is our biggest event of the year. And again, it will help us help all of those animals in the community who are either abused, abandoned or need a home. We're just hoping that the community comes out and it's quite a site to see when you dump thousands of ducks into the river," said Karen Matson the Executive Director of the Humane Society.
Event coordinators are hoping participants will "flock" to their website www.bchumanesoc.org to buy ducks.
Last year they did sell out.
The top three winning ducks will receive cash prizes and one lucky duck could possibly win one million dollars.
