Jets Training Camp: Green vs. White Scrimmage leaves questions

CORTLAND, NY -- Just over a week into camp and there are still plenty of questions to be answered for the Jets, as Saturday's Green vs. White Scrimmage proved.

The offense struggled at times moving the ball, but did have one good drive that ended with Mark Sanchez finding Bilal Powell for an 8-yard touchdown.

Sanchez said a lot went right on that drive, things that will only help the team as they move forward.

"It starts with the play calls, and Coach Sparano got us off to a good start," said Sanchez. "He trusted us on the 4th and 3 and we converted to Dustin [Keller] and then just kept the ball rolling from there.  We had a couple good runs, got a penalty.  Things like that build up a little momentum and you see guys really put a hop in their step."

Some scary news from after the scrimmage was Coach Rex Ryan announcing that wide receiver Santonio Holmes had broken a rib.  However, afterwards the Jets said that x-rays were negative and Holmes will be day-to-day.

Holmes had already missed the last few days of practice due to what he called "general soreness."
