PA Man Convicted After Shooting Wife

A Bradford County man has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of his wife.
 
Tara Shave was shot and killed in her home in Litchfield Township in December of 2010.  At the time the 40-year-old worked at the Willow Point Nursing Home where she was remembered as a pleasant, caring person.

Her husband, Steven Shave was originally charged with murder, but he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. 

Prosecutors say he acted with gross negligence by pointing the gun at his wife without checking to see if it was loaded.
