Cuomo Body Piercing Bill

A new law in New York aims to protect teenagers by requiring a parents permission to get a body piercing.

The permission needs to be signed in front of the owner or piercing specialist at the studio.

The new law, which was signed Monday by Governor Cuomo, applies to any piercing located on a part of the body other than the ear.

On Wednesday,  Fox 40 will speaks to a body piercing specialist on how the new law is expected to effect business.
