Increased Moviehouse Security Following Colorado Shootings

Moviehouses across the country have increased security following the mass shootings in Colorado at the premier showing of the new Batman movie.
But there was no increased police presence at the AMC theatres at the Town Square Mall in Vestal this evening--

The Broome County Sheriff's Department tells us that there have been no requests from theatre management--and there have been no incidents.

Among movergoers , reaction was mixed to what happened in  Colorado:
"I's really sad what happened, but that hasn't stopped me from going to the movies," said Lucas Smith.

"It hasn't really made me nervous about coming to the movies"
"No. not really. it's kind of just a freak occurence. It wouldn't expect anything like that to happen again," said Justine Grete.

Kathy Lillie told Fox 40 News, "It made me kind of nervous to go to the movies because I thought what if this could happen somewhere else. I was also nervous because my friend lives in colorado and I wasn't sure if she was in the theatre or not."
"Obviously this has happened in the past events similar to this and they keep happening so something obviosuly needs to change and be done."

But Michael Seltzberg said, "I don't think we need some kind of police state where people get searched and frisked everywhere they go."-
