Southern Tier, State Adds Private Sector Jobs

New York State was responsible for nearly one in five private-sector jobs added nationally in June.

The state added 15,400 private-sector jobs.

That is an increase of .2%.

The US as a whole added 84,000 private-sector jobs for the month.

From June of 2011 to June of 2012 the Binghamton area added 2,300 private-sector jobs, an increase of 2.7%.
