Robbery at Hess Mart Leads to Foot Chase

A robbery Monday night at the Hess Mart on Vestal Avenue did not go as planned.

The robber entered the store around 11:45, displayed a knife, and demanded money from the cash register.

But when the clerk refused to give him the cash that prompted the robber to grab the register and run.

The clerk then called the police who located the suspect leaving the area, and caught him after a foot chase.

No one was injured and the suspect's name has not being released yet.
