Drone Author Worries About Domestic Use of Unmanned Technology

Death by remote control.

That is what one author says America is conducting overseas - and she worries about the consequences.

Author Medea Benjamin spoke at Binghamton City Hall today about her book which is titled--
"Drone Warfare: Killing by Remote Control."

She says innocent bystanders have been killed by drone attacks, as well as military targets.

Benjamin also says that drone warfare has helped to keep America's continued wars in the background of people's consciousness.

"Drone warfare actually contributes to that by having a secret kind of war that goes on behind the backs of the American public. little known to most people we are not only at war in Afghanistan but also in Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia."

Benjamin also worries about the domestic use of drones for surveillance by law enforcement.
