The American Pride Ride 2 was held at the American Legion Post in Endicott. Riders of any make and model of bikes were welcome to join the 90 mile trip across four southern tier counties. All proceeds go to benefit the Children of Fallen Soldiers. Event organizers say they ride to support our everyday freedoms that the military fights to protect.
"The reason we do it near the 4th of July not only are we doing it for The Children of Fallen Soldiers and this year to help out the American Legion, We're doing it to celebrate our nation's birth and I think that's the biggest part of it because we wouldn't be able to be here doing this if it wasn't for our veterans. So we love them and we appreciate everything they've done for us" said Organizer Sean King.
The ride concluded with a pork barbecue dinner, raffles and live entertainment and was open to all at the Legion Hall in Endicott.
