Another Student Accused of Wanting to Take Gun to an Endicott School

There is a new element to a story that has been drawing a  lot of viewer reaction since we ran it earlier this week--
 
It involved the year-long suspensions of two eighth grade boys at the Jennie F. Snapp school in Endicott--

They were accused of threatening to bring guns to school.

The boys' mothers--and their lawyer--all say the boys were falsly accused--by bullies--

As it turns out, around the same time, in late May, a six year old boy--in the first grade-- by the name of Tyler Bronson was accused by another student of wanting to bring a gun to the George F. Johnson school in Endicott--in his bookbag.

Recently, we spoke to him--and his mother. Tyler says the only gun he has is a nerf gun, and he never told the student or anyone that he wanted to bring it, or a real gun to school.  He says real guns scare him. 
His mother, Jessica Bronson, says an Endicott policeman came to their home early in the morning--unannounced, and searched the bookbag--and part of the house.

Later, the police department concluded that there was nothing to be concerned about.
