Police Warn Fireworks Watchers Not to Pull Off Roads

With the weather holding Wednesday night, there was probably lots of fireworks watching for the 4th.
 
But New York State Police and the DOT were asking people not to stop or park along interstate highways.

During Previous July 4th displays people have pulled on to the shoulders and ramps to watch the displays--

But that can create a dangerous situation in terms of traffic.

Police say they will be on active patrol throughout the evening.
