Authorities say around Four Thirty this morning several shots were fired near the intersection of Monroe Street and Harrison Avenue. An eye witness told police that a black male was driving a silver car, possibly a dodge stratus near 800 Monroe Street. They say the car came to a complete stop and the driver exchanged gunfire with another unknown person.
The gunfire woke up Nate Toner. He then realized that one of the bullets went through his living room.
"We had thought the dog left some biscuits on the floor. What it was, was fragments from the wall because the bullet went from outside of the house, into the house, into the living room actually, hit a lamp and bounced on the floor. So there's a big hole in the wall in my living room and the bullet was on the floor" said Endicott resident Nate Toner.
Authorities say no one was injured in the shooting. They want anyone with information to cal 757-2479.
