B-Mets cruise past Erie

ERIE -- The B-Mets' bats came alive Friday night in Erie.  They kicked things off right off the bat.

After putting up two runs in the first, the B-Mets distance themselves with a four run third inning sparked by Jefry Marte solo home run followed by a Wilfredo Tovar 2-RBI triple.

The B-Mets would then send 10 batters to plate in the sixth inning and push across 6 more runs to make it 12-0.

The SeaWolves would add one run in each of the last two innings.  But that's not enough as the B-Mets finish this one off 12-2.

Darin Gorski threw six shutout innings, walking only one, and striking out four.

The B-Mets and SeaWolves face off again tomorrow night in Game 2 of the four game series.  First pitch at 7:05
