Red Dress Runners Brave Heat for Charity

Long dresses, short skirts, and lots of red!

That was the dress code Wednesday evening at Maine-Endwell High School.

Men and women alike were decked out in red dresses for the running of the 15th annual Red Dress 5-K.

More than 150 runners scampered around the high school to raise money for the Crime Victims Assistance Center of Binghamton.

Mike Kent was one of them and showed off his outfit to us.

He says, "I like to refer to it as an ensemble, so I didn't just come her to represent the Triple Cities running club and all the wonderful work they do for charity, but also to represent men who need to be women at least one day a year everywhere."

Shawn Horan won the men's race in just over 17 minutes.

Casandra Hamilton was the top lady, running the race in 20 minutes.
