En-Joie Golf Course Open for the Season

But Wednesday those questions were answered as En-Joie opened to the public.
Now usually this week would be reserved for the Dick's Sporting Goods Open,
but because of the flood the tournament was pushed to August.
And while the flood devastated the course last fall head pro Michael Deuel says that lessons learned after the flood of '06 helped them this time around.
"It's just removal of all that debris, the reseeding process, the timing of it, how long it actually takes to regrow the turf, the importance to keep people off the golf course for a certain amount of time to get that grass a chance to grow and prosper. We' don't want to go through it again, but unfortunately we're getting to be experts at it," said Deuel.
