Binghamton prepares for unusual series

BINGHAMTON -- Minor league baseball can be a grind.

For five months players rarely get a day off, plus tack on the long bus rides, and you find teams praying for rain out.

Well, the B-Mets have had too much of those this year.
 
Tuesday Binghamton starts an unusual five game series with Akron. Two games today, two more tomorrow before their finale with the Aeros on Thursday.

Despite the strangeness of this series, manager Pedro Lopez is confident in his group against Akron.
