McHugh called up to Triple-A

BINGHAMTON -- With an open starting pitchers spot open in the Buffalo rotation, there was plenty of speculation on a call-up from Binghamton.  Sunday that speculation became reality as Collin McHugh left the B-Mets to join the Bison.

In 12 starts this season for the B-Mets, McHugh led the team in innings pitched with more than 74.  He also posted a 2.41 ERA, which was good enough for fifth in the Eastern League, and was 5-5 for Binghamton.

McHugh joined Buffalo Sunday before the team traveled to Norfolk where Collin will start against the Tides Monday.
