SUNY Tobacco Ban Proposed

The "Tobacco-Free SUNY" policy would apply to grounds, facilities, and vehicles owned by SUNY.
The policy would make SUNY the largest public university system in the country to go tobacco free.
However students from Binghamton University seem a little less than optimistic about the proposal.
"They're putting morals where there shouldn't be, it's not really there job to say that you can't smoke something that's perfectly legal," said Anna Pettus a B.U. student.
"I have a lot of friends who smoke and that's how they relax from all the studying and all the work they have," said Joseph Cardozo a BU student.
