Toddler Falls from Third Story Window, In Critical Condition

Endicott Police are currently investigation an incident were a baby fell out of a third story window.

Police, fire, and medical personnel responded to 200 North Street around 11:00am Monday morning where a 19-month old female child was found unconscious and unresponsive on the sidewalk below her third story window.

One witness, Randy Roy who works at O.G.G.I. across the street from the apartment building said he's seen children lean outside the window on several occasions.

"Everyday I come to work, I see the kids leaning out the window. They're small children, very small children to just be leaning out the window all the time.  I wish the parents would of paid more attention to their children," said Roy.

Roy added that he heard the mother tell police that shew as vacuuming at the time when the girl fell from the window.

The child was transported to Wilson Hospital and at last report was in critical condition.
