Motorcyclist Dead Two Weeks After Accident

The motorcyclist who sustained massive head injuries in a collision with a car in Vestal two weeks ago, has died.

Charles Illg, 52, of Brackney, Pennsylvania, was struck at the intersection of Main Street and Hazel Drive.

He was traveling north along Main St. on his Harley Davidson when
62-year old Theresa Harold of Vestal, who was traveling south, tried to make a left hand turn onto Hazel Drive.

Police said she drove directly into the path of Illg's motorcycle.

Illg died Sunday.

Harold was ticketed for failure to yield right of way, and unregistured motor vehicle.
