Copper Burglary Arrest

First, the September floods took away much of a local neighborhood, and now, police say a theft was taking away some of what was left:
 
Authorities say they caught a man early Friday morning stealing hundreds of dollars worth of copper from a house at 31 Birch Street in the Town of Union.

They arrested Allen Hurt,  and tell us they actually found Hurt in the process of stripping the house of its copper pipe and tubing.

Police say copper had already been loaded onto Hurt's vehicle.

Hurt is from Endwell.
