Community Shows Support Oney Family

Mourners gathered to Thursday afternoon say good-bye to the little girl who was killed by her father in triangle last weekend.

Visting hours began at 4:00pm Thursday afternoon to remember little Allison Oney.

The three year old was shot by her father, Larry, before he set their house on fire.

This followed his attack on his wife Melissa, during which he slashed her Achillies tendons.

Friends and family came to show their support for Melissa as she faces an overwhelming tragedy.

"Well I'm here with a heavy heart for Melissa and her family for this terrible tragedy and now the community needs to help her with an outpouring of love and support for her and her family," said Christopher Cook an Owego Resident and friend.

If you are interested in paying your respects-calling hours last until 7 Thursday night.

Allison's funeral will take place Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, in Endicott.
