Montrose Teacher Steals $95,000

A Montrose teacher is accused of stealing nearly $95,000 from a teachers union.

Cheryl Arnold, a teacher at the Montrose Area Jr. and Sr. High School, is also the former treasurer of the Montrose Education Association  Teacher's Union.

Prosecutors said  that she stole the money between 2008 and November 2011 while serving as treasurer.

The 53-year-old woman is facing a number of criminal counts.
