Slow start doesn't hurt M-E against OFA - 9/26/2009
In Maine-Endwell, the Spartans had trouble putting the points on the board early against Owego Free Academy.In the first, quarterback Tom Connolly gets picked off by the Indians' Dana Davis, OFA takes over on possession.
Fast forward to the second, M-E has the rock again, and this they score. Nate Duvall takes'em in for six on the t-d run, the Spartans lead 6-0.
Then just before the half, a minute and change on the clock, it's the Connolly connection.
OFA almost intercepts the ball, but it falls into the hands of John Connolly, and he takes it to the house, M-E rolls in the second half winning 28-12.
