Samantha McDonald

Samantha McDonald came to us from Los Angeles, where she earned her Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California. In LA, Samantha was an intern at KABC and also KTLA, where she prepared questions for celebrity interviews.

Samantha was in Nashville prior to that, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology with a minor in Music from Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, she reported and anchored at VTV and interned at CMT, interviewing country music stars and blogging about them. Samantha has always been very interested in learning about other peoples' stories and cultures-- which led her to start a career in journalism. Samantha is originally from Boston and is very excited to be back on the East Coast. She loves to dance, listen to music, and to travel, and has lived in Italy and Poland.
