Lauren Garber
Lauren Garber was born in San Diego, California. She has been involved in the media for as long as she can remember, and knew she wanted to be a television reporter after helping with homeland security and justice stories as an intern at ABC News in Washington, D.C.
She has worked as a political correspondent, covering Capitol Hill for WSEE in Erie, Penn. and WENY in Elmira, New York, and as a general assignment and feature reporter for NNN in Boston. In Washington, D.C., she did extensive reporting on health care reform legislation, the Afghanistan War strategy and national politics.
Lauren is passionate about storytelling, and says the best part about her job is all of the people she gets to meet. She loves speaking with people about what matters most to them and sharing their stories.
She holds a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University, and a bachelor's degree in political science from U.C.L.A.
When Lauren is not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and traveling. She has visited cities across the United States, Central and South America, Europe and studied abroad in Barbados.
