Jacqueline Kane
Jacqueline was born in Boston, but was raised in Centennial, Colorado. She has wanted to be a journalist as long as she can remember, believing it would be an exciting and adventuresome career. Jacqueline attended Binghamton University under a full sports scholarship for volleyball and graduated in 2008 earning degrees in political science and English. After interning here at FOX 40 and at CBS 4 in Denver, she worked briefly at WIVT in Binghamton before accepting a reporting position at FOX 40 in May, 2008. Jacqueline frequently covers stories about local government and makes it a point to report on how issues will affect everyday taxpayers. She has covered a wide range of stories and provided Southern Tier viewers with live reports from downtown Binghamton during the American Civic Association shootings. Jacqueline says the most rewarding aspect of the job is that she's always discovering something new every day as well as meeting all kinds of people. She enjoys learning more about the community and discovering "the beauty and idiosyncrasies of the Southern Tier." During her free time, Jacqueline likes to read and write about adventures and philosophy. She also enjoys watching anime and playing volleyball.
